Simtronics Training Services Simtronics offers Standard, Custom and Refresher Training Courses. Contact us today to find out how we can help your instructors get the most out of their simulator! OTS Instructor Training Binary Distillation Operations Boiler Operations Natural Draft Fired Heater Operations Centrifugal Compressor Operations Process Plant Troubleshooting Effective Console Operations Abnormal Situation Management Process Control Process Optimization The intent of this course is to introduce Simtronics simulator features and share best practices for simulator integration into operator training curriculums.

Intended audiences are new Simtronics trainers, administrators, and instructors.

At the conclusion of this training, the learner will be able to perform administrator duties for Simtronics OTS software, using the tools provided by the instructor.
The Binary Distillation Operations course prepares students to apply a cause-and-effect analysis to distillation operations for troubleshooting purposes. The course utilizes a generic operator training simulator (OTS) to provide learners the opportunity to improve their distillation operations and troubleshooting skills.

Our experienced instructors use a blended learning approach to ensure learners have the prerequisite knowledge and skills to successfully complete the exercises. The course is 70% hands-on, using the simulator to start-up and shutdown the unit. Troubleshooting scenarios require the learner to identify the potential cause, determine the appropriate corrective action(s) and return the system to normal operating parameters or safely perform a shutdown.

Pre-and Post-course assessments allow each learner to see their learning progress from attending the course. Client training managers receive a detailed report of learner progress.
The Boiler Operations course prepares the students to apply a cause-and-effect analysis to boiler operations for troubleshooting purposes. The course utilizes a generic operator training simulator (OTS) to provide learners the opportunity to improve their boiler operations and troubleshooting skills.

Our experienced instructors use a blended learning approach to ensure learners have the pre-requisite knowledge and skills to successfully complete the exercises. The course is approximately 70% hands-on, using the simulator to start-up and shutdown the unit. Troubleshooting scenarios require the learner to identify the potential cause, determine the appropriate corrective action(s) and return the unit to normal operating parameters or safely perform a shutdown.

Pre-and Post-course assessments allow each learner to see their learning progress from attending the course. Client training managers receive a detailed report of learner progress.
The Natural Draft Fired Heater Operations course prepares the students to apply a cause-and-effect analysis to fired heater operations for troubleshooting purposes. The course utilizes a generic operator training simulator (OTS) to provide learners the opportunity to improve their heater operations and troubleshooting skills.
